IA Ventures is looking for a few good interns
IA Ventures (http://iaventures.com) is seeking one MBA/experienced intern and one undergrad intern to join us for 12 weeks this summer as full-time, paid interns in our New York City office.
We are a seed-stage venture capital firm focused on companies developing tools and technologies for managing and extracting value from Big Data, and we’re looking for two start-up junkies to join our team for the summer. Because there are only four of us (we’re a start-up ourselves, in fact), we’ll need you to help us investigate companies, learn about industries, develop investment theses, perform internal operations, organize community events, and work with portfolio companies—basically, you can take on as much responsibility as you can handle.

How to stand out:
- A demonstrated passion for start-ups and technology
- Start-up operating experience is a major plus
- Engineering background is also a major plus. At a minimum, you must be demonstrably tech savvy
- Net native - you should be an active user of emerging technologies
- Strong verbal and writing skills (PowerPoint/Keynote too)
- Exceptional organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
